Generative Graffiti
In collaboration with Eyebeam's Graffiti Research Lab. A particle based drawing system that spawns particles from the lit up windows of the Maritime Hotel. The particles are attracted to one another but will repel away from the non-lit windows.
Interactive Experiments
A series of motion tracking / activity based pieces that will be updated regularly. Mainly based around photgraphy and motion, these are mini experiments for potential interactive installations.
Audio Space
Audio Space is a 3D augmented aural space. A user wearing a headset can leave messages at any point within the room and hear all the sounds left by everyone before them spatialised as if the people were really still there. It was exhibited as part of the TRANSMISSIONS show at ICHIM 05 in Paris this Summer.
Ars Elevator
One of the projects I worked on at the Ars Electronica Futurelab, was to make an installation for the museum's elevator that had a built in screen in the floor. The program simulates a dark virtual space bellow the elevator, that is illuminated by particles that multiply as the elevator rises.
Daisies
This is an interactive project I did for my Computer Vision class at Parsons. It was a pretty simple idea. You walk over the daisies and the daisies die under your feet. Only to quickly grow back a few seconds later.
Gravitational Drawing
A series of images from a software created drawing tool that uses particles and gravity to create dynamic and changing compositions.
Exposure
Some pictures developed from a custom c++ app I made. The software takes incoming video and exposes a black image slowly over time, kind of like how it is when you develop a photo. By only letting one colour channel get exposed at a time and playing with the light source I created this set of images.
Architect
Architect is a self sustaining audio visual system. The project questions the value of human interaction by creating a system that can both create and appreciate its own creativity without the need for human presence. |
